We were attending the Mass Moca Wilco 3-day event in North Adams, ma, so the location was ok for that purpose. But it was also intended to be a romantic weekend away, so the Autumn Inn was not conducive to that due to the very rundown and dirty accommodations. Bennington, vt, however, was lovely and we enjoyed a nice dinner and breakfast in downtown Bennington, minutes away.
Bathroom and room in general were filthy. Shower was awful, hardly any hot water. Lamps and furniture were old and in terrible condition - mostly broken. Amenities were nominal to nothing - packets of shampoo that were so difficult to tear open that you ran out of hot water before you manage to open packet and shampoo hair. Had to go out and purchase a bottle of shampoo. No tissues or any other amenities were provided except toilet paper (phew).
Convenience to downtown. While still being quite.
The resturant was closed for renovation & we expected it to be open
High rate relative to the standard.
The Laundry Room
The breakfast area and the breakfast. The price at $142 was the most expensive that we have paid on our journey and the worse breakfast.
Much less expensive then hotels in nearby Massachusetts
Not one thing I hated everything about the place except the location nasty rooms and staYed one day and they kept 300 dollars of mine and didn't want to refund me anymore and I only stayed one night won't recomend this place to a homeless person unless its a storm out side.
Hated every thing about it tell all to not stay there
It was the first time that I have found a bed at a motel to actually be comfortable. I would definitely stay there again.
We had teenagers, and though they were not too loud, there were no complaints
What I did not like was the office or the offiice bathroom, cleanliness was not a priorty. I was a little uncertain about the room, but it was very clean and comfortable. If you are looking for a reasonble motel and close to the attractions then your in the right place. I do want to say the staff was friendly and recommended some wonderful places to eat, for which I was truly grateful
My stay at the Autumn Inn was very pleasant and very comfortable. The room was nice and clean. The bed and linens were new and nice and very comfortable. The amenities were available. I especially appreciated the laundry facilities and ice machine. The wi-fi worked well and was very fast. The new landscaping around the motel was a nice feature since the last stay. The staff was very accomidating and very nice. I am happy to stay there again as the price is reasonable compared to the rest and the quality is equal or better than the rest. I highly recommend this motel.
The cost $75
The hotel staff was dirty sleeping on the job, the room was filthy dirty and had urine odor. The towells were dirty and torn, toilet over flowing, ac didn't work. The breakfast was for the pigs not human...dirty, old, and moldy. We deserve our money back...we could have done 100% better sleeping outside in a tent!
The bed was ok
Autumn Inn is a scruffy facility. The Reception was filthy alongside a breakfast area made up of two plastic tables. There is no way I could take my wife in there. The Receptionist spoke limited English and had poor awareness of the area. Had I not prepaid I would have walked out there and then. The room was clean, but the furniture and facilities were ancient. The toilet was intended for a childrens facility. This place is probably intended for maintenance types overnighting on a job paying bottom dollar. This facility is a disgrace to Booked.net
Cheap and dingy but adequate.
I liked it.
Bennington is cute.
I doubt its AAA rated.
It is bare-bones and, as such, overpriced. It appears to scrape along, supplying a minimum of respectability (we won't even venture into the topic of decor). It will not ruin your weekend financially, but it will certainly not make it a joy.
